What a lovingly crafted documentary on a true pop culture icon. Review
Not a total mess it tries really hard to sabotage itself. Review
There’s enough here to keep some audience members in stitches but for me it only works some of the time. Review
This, rightfully is the best action film I’ve seen thus far in 2021. Review
It’s a perfect summer bash. The scenes in the heat feel sticky and sweaty…as they should. This hits all the emotional spots it should and never feels forced or inauthentic. Review
Andrea Riseborough continues to be utterly fantastic in every role she’s given. I think, unfortunately, that some of the material isn’t up to the performances we have. Review
What an unbelievably fun surprise. Not only do I give this a strong recommendation but I would say this is the surprise comedy of the year. Review
Kelley Kali is an outstanding talent. She and Angelique Molina (who wrote the film alongside Roma Kong as well) show a deft eye behind the lens. Review
I hate hate HATED this movie. It’s a movie made for children but it is one that seemingly talks down to them. Review
A really interesting film lt down by some questionable narrative decisions I think the dialogue itself is all rather snappy, and the acting, even in the supporting roles is great. Review
Outside of the major names in the director’s chair and the lead the actual process and execution just aren’t there. Review
I really was impressed by the action and the pacing of the film but what I was upset with was the “Disneyness” of it all. It was as though they went through a Disney checklist and hit every mark. Review
This film is hilarious. I don’t know what I expected going in but it was not whatever the hell it was I got. Review
The end product is, in fact, a decent teen romantic comedy that uses a (now) somewhat overused premise. That said…I do think this is an enjoyable piece that many will find a little cheesy but otherwise romantic. Review
Lana Condor will most certainly come out of the other end of this trilogy as the star she deserves to be. This is just a case of a film series that had nowhere left to go. A script that muddles too much of what had this franchise shining. Review
Jessie Barr is a legit force as a director and we’re along for the ride. Review
This is a really intense affair that never once for a single second takes itself too seriously. It’s all the better for that. Review
This is an utterly heart-wrenching experience at points. Review
If the song within the film were not so catchy and great I probably would not have been as kind to this. Review
Incomprehensible writing and wholly unlikeable characters. Review
Even though it is a unique subject there’s too much going on and for sure someone could get lost in it all. Review
I cannot state more plainly that if you’re a crier and you need a good cry well look no further. As a film it’s a wonderful character study of both Nicole and Matt but moreso on Dane. Review
Bleeker Street has brought forth a really good production that struggles to be great in the face of the exquisite talent involved. Really it’s Waterston and Kirby that deserves far better. Review
Corbine’s craftmanship is simply fantastic. His narrative work here is really well done. Review
