When it comes to comedy, that is extremely difficult to score, since comedy is very subjective, but it does a pretty decent job at displaying what Bill Murray is famous for, sarcastic and passive aggressive humor – and the lines are memorable, so that also gets full points.
From nearly every aspect of the film, it excels. From the impressive performance of Rami Malek to the very way the film is shot and put together is all pretty memorable.
There really is nothing special about the movie. It’s one of the worst Jim Carrey movies I’ve ever seen and so far, the worst movie of 2018.
I honestly think this is the best made movie in the franchise. They are slowly, but surely, getting better at what they do.
I believe this is a better, stronger movie and it’s nice to see them have a better idea on what they want to do with the series.
It may have some issues with aging, some issues with acting, and a plot line that could’ve used another day in the writer’s room, but for what it’s worth, it works.
I’ll be the first to admit that this movie sucked me in almost immediately.
The main things that stick out for the things that make this film good are the performances, dialogue, and quite honestly, atmosphere.
It also may not be the highest rated movie on my list for the universe, that mostly has to due with the balance of everything, I will say this – it’s unforgettable.
In a lot of different ways, this film knocks it out of the ballpark. That entire first sequence was incredible, everybody did a great job this time...
It’s a movie that still feels super fresh and original, feels much more like an actual movie than an adaptation...
Felt really fresh and original, the action was really great, and we get an early look at how Dylan O’Brien is a severely underrated actor who seriously has the chops for what he does.
Not great, not overly terrible, just right down that line of forgettability.
It’s a fine movie. It’s a fun movie, it’s just not a great movie.
The cast was great, but in the long run, the basic R-rated comedy nature of it makes the entire thing feel a bit bland and forgettable in the end. It’s good for one watch, but I wouldn’t look too deeply into it.
This movie felt a little too much like it was a parody of itself.
The movie is a lot of fun, even if it doesn’t always have a super-strong focus on where it’s headed.
A very good movie that worked very hard on being consistently accurate and emotionally-charged at the same time.
These are very colorful and diverse, almost caricatured characters, which works really well for any good family film...
Don’t listen to the critics with a thumb up their butts, it is totally decent enough to watch.
It’s ridiculous and full of stupid potty humor, and I love it.
These two things actually made a lot of the humor in the film stick and seem worthwhile...
